What this means in terms of your own pocket is that it'll currently cost you about $40 to fill up one of these babies and you'll be able to drive over 400 miles before filling up again.
Remember that the numbers that you're seeing for good gas mileage don't mean anything if you aren't taking care of your SUV properly. Yes, you need to buy an SUV that gets some good gas mileage, but you also need to maintain it in order to keep the vehicle efficient. Get regular maintenance work done on your SUV when you're supposed to, make sure that you're buying the kind of gas that you're supposed to be getting for that vehicle, and do as little stop-and-go driving as possible in order to make sure that you're good gas mileage SUV really is as good as it gets.
